2024 Marching Band Competitions

PLEASE NOTE date conflicts with ACT/SAT testing. All marching band members must be at competitions, so do not sign up for a standardized test on these dates.

10/5/24 - NCBA @ Del Mar Band Review - San Jose, CA **

10/12/24 - NCBA @ Liberty High School - Brentwood, CA

10/26/24 - Foothill Band Review - Pleasanton, CA *

11/16/24 - Lincoln Band Review - Stockton, CA

To sync South City Band calendar with Apple iOS devices:

• • Go to Settings:

    • Tap Mail > Contacts > Calendars.

    • From Accounts, tap Add Account.

    • At the Add Account screen, tap Other.

    • From Calendars, tap Add Subscribed Calendar.

    • For the Server value, enter the URL of the public calendar: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/southcitybands%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics

    • Tap Next in the upper right corner.

    • It will verify the server and then show a subscription page. Change the description if you like.

    • Tap Save to save the subscription.

To sync South City Band calendar with Android devices:

(you must use your Google account and have a Google calendar created)

• • In your Google Calendar on a real computer:

    • Under Other Calendars, click Add.

    • Select Add by URL.

    • Enter the following URL:
      https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/southcitybands%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics

    • Click Add Calendar.

    • Google will begin to sync your calendar, and it will appear on the screen.

    • Click Settings.

    • Change the long name of the new calendar to something you will remember, such as “Charms Calendar.”

    • Your phone should automatically be set to sync with your Google calendar.

    • On your phone: Tap Calendar, and then bring up the settings for the calendar. Tap Calendar Sync. You should see your Google account listed already. Make sure Auto-Sync is checked.
